Because i want to give the people in the "old" europe an understanding of the little state in the baltics, that i love so much. I was in riga in November - in the middle of a blizzard, with temperatures of minus 15! But it was wonderful. A lovely city full of really nice worm people. the food was delightful, and the architecture superb. Don't miss out on a trip to the motor museum to see the cars of Stalin, Kruschev and Breshnev amongst others. I stayed at the Hotel Riga, which was just great. As you can tell, i had a lovely time and will definitely be back!! |
